Pro Wrestling Story is a simulation game where the player takes charge of a wrestling organization with the focus of training different wrestlers through different physical routines.
The player can acquire different specialized equipment to improve the physical conduction of the wrestlers so that they can achieve a better performance in the matches.[1] The training equipment ranges from treadmills to weights in order to improve the strength and performance of wrestlers.[2]
The main stats of the fighters range from stamina, power, agility, technique and charisma, which can be improved through experience in the ring with other opponents or with proper training using the equipment available in the player's gym.[3]
Structures
The structures in Pro Wrestler Story range from equipment designed to improve the skills of wrestlers to facilities that are intended for the recovery of wrestlers after intense physical work. Other types of structures include kitchen equipment as well as shelves and cash registers to accommodate and sell all types of merchandise. Additionally, the structures include all kinds of vending machines that can help the player to earn additional income in case the wrestlers use them.
The constant use of these structures is important in order to obtain training and satisfaction points. In addition, there is the possibility to obtain new items without having to buy them from Pumpkin Products The player can increase their use as well as their effects by placing different decorations such as plants around them.Wrestlers
The Wrestlers are the main characters of the game, they generally train and practice using the facilities and equipment of the player's gym in order to increase their strength when facing other wrestlers from rival teams in matches. The player can give them all kinds of items as well as special training that can help improve their condition as well as skills.
Additionally, over the course of the game, there is the possibility that some fighters can unlock archetypes by fulfilling specific conditions, these archetypes can help increase certain stats as well as unlock more interactions in the press conferences.Releases
In July 2024, Kairosoft released the Japanese version of the game for iOS and Android devices.[4] On July 12, 2024, it was reported that Pro Wrestling Story appeared as number 1 in the paid app ranking for the Japanese Play Store.[5]
