I think it's fine to play so long as you don't choose to pay (that way they know people aren't interested in doing so).
TL;DR: There's a lot of editing you could do if you want =p
They technically could all use some editing. Even though there are games that have a lot of the basic info, it can usually be formatted better, could usually use some text explaining it (A few games do this, like Game Dev Story, but many games mostly have only a table / 1-2 sentences, which is because the table is usually the most important important thing, but without text, new users might not understand. Sadly the writing part is the part most people seem to not like doing as much (me included =p).
There's also miscellaneous stuff that can be added, kind of like Companies (Game Dev Story), Auras (Grand Prix Story), and Baths (Hot Springs Story). While these each cover different things, they all either cover something that isn't immediately import, or go into more detail on a specific thing. While it's important for a game to have as much data as possible, there's still plenty that can be added if look for it =p There's also many games that /, as well as games that could use some info on the main page of the game.
Or if you like hard projects, you can try discovering unlock conditions for different things in different games (some of the hard ones being structures and careers/jobs for Venture Towns & Pocket Academy).
Or if you want a more straight-forward project, Pocket League Story (1) could probably use some more info (I haven't played though, so not sure) and Ninja Village seems quite sparse.
Or as a small project, see if it's possible to get the 4 missing equipment items from Equipment (Dungeon Village). I've tried starting a new game / re-installing the app, but they seem unattainable to me, and I would love confirmation if that's true for others.
Or even doing small things, like grammar fixes, rewording sentences, adding links, adding small details, etc can help a lot.
