Spots are an important aspect of your school as they can, especially when used together at once, greatly boost the effectiveness of your structures. For spots to be formed, each structure must be within 3 squares of both of the others (doesn't have to be same one; could be two separate versions of same structure within range of the other two structures in the combo). Spot bonuses effect the structures within all 8 tiles of one of the spot's structures; as such, it can be useful to spread the spot out as much as possible and combine multiple spots together.
Note that the B-Ball Ct is the Basketball Court, not the Baseball Field.
There's one unobtainable spot combo that's listed in the game files :
- Racing Spot which is a combination of Horse Rm, Track and Field.
The spot required a Horse Rm which is only obtainable if you have a racing spot in your school. Therefore this spot and Horse Rm are both unobtainable.
Spot Combos
A very useful combinations of spots that uses grass (walkable area), multiple "re-used" small structures (that both spots use), and of which three structures are environments (and thus don't need to be accessible) are:
- Power Spot - Well, Woods, Grass
- Relaxing Spot - Azalea, Grass, Bench
- Waiting Spot - Bulletin Bd, Big Rock, Restroom
- Water Spot - Lake, Restroom, Well
The downsides to this combination is that it doesn't boost Ath at all, and that the "Well" isn't available on all maps (only available on Sunny Vale and Lakeside maps).
If room is available, the following combination above can also be easily combined with:
- Garden Spot - Grass, Field, Wtr Fntn
Which gives you the Field and Wtr Fntn, which can be used to chain into additional, bigger combos if needed.
