This is a simulation game where you take control of your own convenience store. You've got ten years to expand your lineup of products, satisfy your customers, and defeat your rivals. What kind of store will you create? The choice is yours!

Game Flow
The first step toward success is making food use of your fixtures. Start by setting up some store shelves to sell products and earn money. You can unlock new fixtures and products by forming partnerships with other companies. Adding new products will improve your store rating and allow you to open new stores in other locations.

Area Targets
When you open a store in a new area, you'll receive new business targets, like defeating a rival or making a certain amount in yearly sales. Complete these targets to unlock the next area.

Opening New Stores
Opening a store in a new location will give you access to a lot more customers than before. Existing staff can be sent to different stores. You can put your old store on Auto-Pilot every in-game year. This branch will run automatically and donate part of its yearly sales to your total, allowing you to concentrate on one store at a time.

Shelf Types 1
Shelves come in different types depending on the products they stock. In addition to regular shelves, you can also use refrigerators, freezers, and bookcases. Depending on how you arrange your shelves, you may unlock a Manager's Choice bonus giving your products a boost in Quality and Price.

Shelf Types 2
Lining up several of the same types of shelf will result in an Appeal Bonus. The higher your Appeal, the more customers you'll get, and the higher your Quality, the more each customer will buy. Expanding into new areas may even give you access to larger shelving units. Explore, experiment, and see what you can find.

Products
the amount of products you can stock depends on the size of your shelves. You can also store excess products in your stockroom to replenish later period products are restocked at midnight every night. Keep a close eye on your current stock so you don't run out! You can also form new partnerships to help reduce the amount of old products you throw away.

Fixture Bonuses
placing fixtures like baskets and trash cans close to shelves may result in an appeal bonus. It may also increase the number of times customers visit each shelf. Some fixtures will reward you with Research points - pocket harvest.png points or gold when customers use them. When a fixture gets used enough, it will level up. Trash cans make customers less likely to drop trash, and bargain bins reduce your waste rate.

Customers
the higher your reputation, the more likely customers are to visit you. Things like how clean your store is and how long people have to wait in line can also affect your business. Fulfilling customer's dreams will lead to good things in your future.

Improving your products' quality and fulfilling requests will help further endear you to your customers. Satisfied customers may even pay you back by returning with a group of friends, or traveling across different areas just to shop with you.

When your reputation is high enough, famous people may start visiting your store. Celebrities will purchase more than regular customers. When they appear, it's the perfect chance to further promote your business and get all eyes on you.

For every three customers you satisfy, you can choose one of the available rewards. This is a great way to pick up new products and employees.

Items
Satisfied customers will sometimes give you gifts. These include items that can be used to increase your product level. Using level up items during a bubble economy will have an even more dramatic effect than usual.

Free Samples
Offering free samples can increase the number of customers visiting your store and the number of items they purchase. When you sell a lot of products, you can receive up to two free samples for each one. You can give up to four different free samples to customers whose dreams you've fulfilled.

Your rank will increase when you make enough sales on the cash register. Keep racking up sales and try for the highest rank!

Contests
Enter contests to show off your customer service and product appeal. Prizes include cash and new fixtures. Keep improving the quality of your wares and go for the gold! If one of your staff wins a contest, they'll have to sit the next one out, so choose wisely. New contests are sometimes unlocked after you reach a new rank.

Staff 1
If your store gets too crowded, you might want to hire more staff to help. Staff will gain experience for every season they work, making them better at their jobs. Having lots of staff with high service stats will also increase your stores reputation.

Stamina: A staff members energy. When it runs out, they'll have to take a break.
Service: Good old-fashioned customer service. Makes customers more likely to give gifts.
Speed: How fast the staff member can move around and get work done.
Favorite Weather: stamina will recover faster during this weather. (Not all staff have this stat.)

Points & Ideas
Convenience stories medal.png points are awarded when you increase your rank and reputation. These can be used to level up staff, purchase new items, or develop new products and fixtures. Use them wisely, and you'll see an increase in sales in no time!

Partnerships
Each area has a number of companies you can partner with. Some partnerships only become available when you reach certain rank or reputation. Be sure to bring along plenty of cash from the negotiations! You get three chances to negotiate with a potential partner. If you reach a 100% success rate early, you won't have to pay for the later negotiations.

Business Rating
as you meet targets and improve your rating, you'll be awarded with trophies, Convenience stories medal.png points, and other rewards. Keep working hard and aim for a Platinum Trophy!

Rivals
Sometimes when you move to a new area, you'll find a rival store already in business there. You can get them to close down and leave if you beat them in sales three out of four seasons in one year. But don't worry - even if you lose, you can try again the following year.

Advertising
Up to four products can be advertised per day. Each product will be promoted in turn, changing every six hours. Advertised products will level up, have higher demand than usual, and you'll also receive Research points - pocket harvest.png points every time somebody buys them. Advertising's effects may be more effective depending on the method you use.

Other
Look out for the traveling merchant who visits every fall - he'll sell you outdoor fixtures.
Your store's reputation depends on factors like Service and Appeal, and can go up or down by the hour.

Increasing Sales
If you're struggling against a tough rival, try rearranging your shadows. You might discover a new Manager's Choice bonus. You can also return to a previous area to form new partnerships and discover new products. This will put you much stronger position than before.

Minigames
Minigames are a fun way to grab some extra Exp and points. A product minigame will become available whenever a new customer type visits your store, while a staff minigame can be played whenever your rank increases.

National Rankings
at the end of every season, all the convenience stores in the country are ranked based on their sales. They are a great indicator of how well your store is doing, so be sure to check them out. Keep driving up your sales and take the number one spot!

Every year, the Convenience Store Council gives out awards to the best stores in the business. Prizes are given based on store cleanliness and the overall beauty of your shelves. Keep improving and see if you can become worthy of the Grand Prize.

the game "ends" in the spring of Year 11, when your high score is calculated. You can continue to play and manage your store afterward, or start a new game and try to beat your high score.

New Game +
You can start a New Game+ after finishing the game once, keeping some of the data from your previous playthrough. This makes it much easier to get a better high score! The data you can transfer to a new game file depends on your score from your previous playthrough. If you continue playing after the ending, your data will be updated at the end of every year.
