Unlike the previous version, staff in this game are completely random, with their stats being dependent on their rank when hired. The rank decides what finishing skill and event skill they have, their stats (barring HP, which is set depending on rank), and their price to hire. Staff up to rank C cost varying amounts of gold to hire, while some in there and onward cost medals.
Staff Abilities
Staff each have 4 different stats, 2 skills (a finishing skill and an event skill), and a salary that is paid at the end of each in-game month.
Staff Stats
- Cooking: Stat used by staff that cook ramen. If the difficulty of the ramen exceeds the cooking stat of the staff member, then the stats of the ramen will be substantially reduced, even if it's 1 point short.
- Service: Used by staff assigned to serve customers. Staff with higher service can take more orders and carry more ramen when serving to customers.
- Speed: Affects movement speed of the staff. Very important for both jobs.
- HP: Affects how long the staff can work before needing to take a break. The Fan item in the Kitchen reduces the rate at which HP goes down, and the Folding Chair and Bench can be used to restore it faster.
Staff Skills
Staff a finishing skill and an event skill, the former of which can be used after creating a new ramen bowl for extra bonuses. Event skills boost a certain type of stat when going to fight in the Arena (rivals included), traveling on a Ramen Odyssey, or holding a festival*.
*Volume, Healthy and Smooth have no effect on a Ramen Odyssey.

F-Rank
F-Rank staff are the weakest in the game, boasting exceptionally low stats and the most basic of finishing and event skills. To fit this, the price to hire them is incredibly low, costing either no money or 18,000G to hire one. They're available from the start, and your initial staff when starting the game will all be random F-Ranks; one with high Cooking.

This rank introduces the rest of the finishing skills and higher tiers of the previous event skills. They cost 432,000G or 5 medals to hire. Available after taking the Skilled Recruiter 2 Rank Bonus.

The names of each staff member is randomly picked from two tables of words, the first table is their first name, and the second is their last name. Their names can be freely changed with a New Name Badge, an item that can be won in the Ramen Roulette at certain prize ranks, or bought in Wairobot's Nifty Shop.
