Pets (Dream House Days)

Pet permits allow tenants to own a pet. They become available for research once child permit research is complete.

Like with all permits, you only need one permit of each type for each apartment. All permits remain effective even after tenants leave.

Pets award clear points for the Endgame by unlocking Trophies and are merely for completion purposes. They do not award tickets but may award a tenant happiness if they interact with it. Each apartment can only house one pet.

Pets sleep in a Pet House or Bed (if either is available) at 11:00 PM. For optimal leveling, place either or both (only one) in each apartment.

You will not get a manager warning if a pet is forced to sleep on the floor. The type of pet picked up by a tenant is random (with large odds discrepancy).
