Bonbon Cakery is a bakery management game where the objective is to prepare desserts and develop a business by improving recipes and increasing its popularity through customer satisfaction as well as winning in cooking contests.
You can make your own sweets by using varying types of ingredients, and find new recipes.
Auras
Auras make people buy more cakes/desserts in Bonbon Cakery. They can be yellow or red. Very rarely, sometimes a Rainbow aura can appear, and customers can buy up to 10 desserts.
Ingredients
Ingredients play a major role in the elaboration of cakes. These can be unlocked by fulfilling customer expectations or alternatively by winning contests.[2] Additionally the player can use items to upgrade the quality of the dessert ingredients.[3]

Bugs & Cheats
[Cheat]
- There's an exploit that lets you get extra tickets. If you wipe the data saved on your device for the Kairo Club app (not Bonbon Cakery), you can get each of the Kairosoft game daily ticket bonuses again in Bonbon Cakery whether you've claimed them or not. This is because the "claimed" status for each game isn't part of your Bonbon Cakery save file, it's part of the Kairo Club app's save file. (Will not work - if using v.2.14 or greater for the kairo club app)
- Yule Logs are one of the most overpowered recipes you can create, and will allow you to brute-force almost every contest up to Angelic Desserts Lv. 1 - and make lots of money with it. Find more information here.
- When playing the game offline, the game uses the device's date and time to give login rewards and truck trips. By manually changing the time of your device forward, you are able to farm the different currencies and items, unlock Item Crafting/Recipe Lab, use whatever Day bonus you want, and refill CP. If you send a truck on a trip, then change the time to a date earlier than when you sent it off, it will get cancelled and recalled.
[Bug]
[Important] - On 1.3.9, when customers pay for their orders their wallets never go down.(It might be a feature. Their wallets are only the maxiumum amount of money they can use while buying sweets, ignoring auras.)[Important] - On the ingredients upgrade screen, where ingredients' data such as sweetness, texture, temperature and calory is displayed, "Sweet" and "Texture" text labels are positioned incorrectly. "Sweet" should be "Texture" and vice versa. This bug still persists in current game version (1.37) (1.39). (Was fixed in one following update.)- On 1.4.8, even if you have upgraded the ingredient, the sweet shown on the recipe box is not updated but shows updated on the shelf. [???]
- In the Pumpkin Store, it states 'new' before Bearington Corp appears if you happen to get a decoration in the free spin before Bearington Corp appears in the Pumpkin Store.
- On occasion, when a customer levels up to a gift, he/she won't give the present immediately. Instead, you'll get it the next time he/she eats at your cakery.
- The keypad might be actually in the game's codes as of version 1.3.5 as the keypad could be briefly seen when starting up the app on rare occasions (or while having the top bar slid down on your Android device).
- Don't create 2 new Recipes in a Row or you won't get 2x 20 Premium Tickets... create one new recipe first, then create the following one.
- You will not get the 3 premium tickets on day 17 (shortcake day).
- Your CP regeneration and truck duration might desync if you have a really poor internet connection when you enter the game.
- On occasion, when upgrading an item, going back will bring you back to the first page. However, the highlighted line will be in the same place as the item you were upgrading.
(v1.3.4 - v1.3.6) Japanese still occasionally appears. The Japanese popups mention the item that has leveled up. This was not translated fully.(Fixed - v1.3.7)- If you use a medal to invite someone in the frame before the store closes, the door will begin to close halfway, then the customer will phase through the door and buy something with the door half-shut. After they leave the door will fully close and the game will return to normal.
Trivia
- This is the first game Kairosoft made without the bottom keypad.
- Most of the locations and customers for truck sales are themes that have been used in other Kairosoft games.
- You can rename your shop name on shop info.
- This game uses Tapjoy like some other free Kairosoft games (Earning tickets by downloading apps etc.)
- This game starts at '4M' instead of the usual 1Y 4M trend of other Kairosoft games.
- You get 10 bonus Medals if you lose 3 consecutive contests, once.
- The amount of time it takes for your sweet to bake after your staff puts it into the oven is exactly 4 seconds.
- Before 1.3.9, this game required an internet connection to play. Now it's possible to play without an internet connection, but it's still required to use some features, like truck sales or friend-related activities.
- The medal limit is 2999 and the game will warn you when you try to enter a HoF/Lucky spin when having more than 800 medals.
- The limit of CP is stuck at 99. Even if you win more from Lucky Spin, your cap will never increase past 99.
- This is the fourth English-translated Android game that is free on Google Play. The first three were Pocket League Story 2, Dream House Days , and Beastie Bay.
- The gameplay of Bonbon Cakery may be heavily based on the title screen of Pocket Clothier.
- If your CP refills when they are full, you will get a medal instead.
