Recipes in Doraemon Dorayaki Shop Story are the main source of player income. They are created in the Kitchen facility by combining 1 sweets Base with 2 ingredients. The key stats for the elaboration of dishes include Taste, Aura, Popular and Luxury, these can be increased after the correct combination of ingredients.
The player can choose between different decorations to decorate the dessert, which are obtained by having a certain number of regular customers or other requirements. These decorations include the mat/tray as well as flower and leaf ornaments. Another important aspect when putting the finishing touches to the desserts is that certain characters can help contribute to the development of the desserts, such as Nobita who can increase the popularity of the dish, Shizuka who can increase the stats of Luxury while Suneo can increase the price of the dessert.

Customers can be found by unlocking their Works or by finding them in Exploration. They will only begin coming into the shop when you first bake their Favourite Sweet.

Ingredients in Doraemon Dorayaki Shop Story are used to create new Recipes. They are first unlocked by finding them by searching locations in the Anywhere Door, and will then be available in rotation in the Gouda General Store.

Secret Gadgets in Doraemon Dorayaki Shop Story are a type of purchasable upgrade that unlocks a variety of facilities and in-battle benefits. Over the course of the game, as the player unlocks various ranks, there is the possibility for characters to use these special gadgets in order to perform specific tasks.
Among the gadgets available is the Travel Projector that can change the style of the interior of the store in addition to the Instant Wardrobe Cam that allows you to change the uniforms of the characters.Trivia
